The Message Media is Sending
The media. Its anywhere. On the internet, books, magazines. Everytime we read ab let on(predicate) celebrities, we feel that we should be subject to be like them in every way, and in my opinion, they atomic number 18 a bad knead on teenagers like us. The points that I would like to argue wherefore are a) they are reinforcing that we con slope the in style(p) stuff to be defined as Ëcool and b) we as girls need to look Ë meliorate so that we so-and-so be respectable to society.\n\nThe media is reinforcing the liking that if we dont suck the modish top notch items, hence we as teens arent considered Ëcool. Celebrities in the media hap up to date with the in style(p) fashion and technologies, like owning the latest iPhones, or buying costly designer fashion wear, and we have become heavily influenced by their actions. We have created a uninspired thought in our heads which is singing us that if we dont have tout ensemble these items, then we arent cool. But in rea lity, we will never be able to own exclusively the fancy items that they own. Being Ëcool would esteem upgrading an iPhone 4S to an iPhone 5S and new iPhone models are advent out almost every 6 months. It would mean difference into town every sidereal day to buy the fanciest designer clothes. If we unbroken this up, then it wouldnt be abundant before our bank accounts are completely drained.\n\nAnother idea that the media is trying to get finished is that girls need to be Ëperfect in order to be presentable to society. When we think of perfect, we think of women with delightful long hair, absolutely enlighten skin, perfect teeth, a thigh gap, a bikini personate and a bubbly just now sweet personality. This perfect number is causing girls like us to aim for unrealistic goals, notwithstanding the truth is, is that the reason why actresses and models look so perfect are from the large get of plastic surgery and typography involved.
